Amendment to Irish Surfing Calendar
Nationals Change of Date and Irish Surf Team Selection, ISA World Surfing Games Added
The International Surfing Association recently announced that the ISA World Games has been scheduled for 2022 ISA World Surfing Games, September 17 – 24, Huntington Beach, California. A selection event for the Irish Surf Team to compete at this event will be held on the 2/3 July at Tullan Strand or Strandhill. We need to select a team as soon as possible to give the team time to fundraise and make arrangements to attend the event.
The 2022 Irish National Surfing Championships was scheduled for the 17/18 September. This clashing with the ISA World Games. The Nationals will move to the 1/2 October.
Entry for the selection contest will close at 9am on Monday 27th June. Selection is open to surfers 18 years and older who are eligible to surf for Ireland. Attendance at the ISA World Surf Games is on a self-funded basis. EVENT ENTRY
